Assessment Delivery Co-ordinator
The General Medical Council (GMC) currently has an opportunity available for a talented Assessment Coordinator within our Assessment Delivery team. In this role at the GMC, you’ll enjoy plenty of variety in working with doctors and health professionals and make a positive impact protecting patients.
Summary of the role
The Assessment Delivery Team run PLAB exams, Fitness to Practise and Revalidation assessments and other events in our purpose-built assessment centres.
Assessment Delivery Coordinators ensure the smooth running of all events in the GMC’s Clinical Assessment Centre (CAC). This involves:

What are we looking for?
You’ll need to be a confident communicator who can build strong relationships with people face-to-face and by phone and email. You should also be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative. With a keen eye for detail, you should be proactive and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.

Please note that due to the nature of the work involved this post is a primarily office-based role with some home working opportunities. Located in Spinningfields at 3 Hardman Square and 3 Hardman Street sites, the successful candidate will be required to attend the GMC offices to carry out the role when required. Candidates will also be required to work some Saturdays as part of the role.
